DAY 1: CASABLANCA – RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN:

We will meet you at your hotel in Casablanca and drive towards Rif mountains, visiting Rabat  –capital. Here we explore main historical sites in city, then we transfer you to Chefchaouen where you explore small but very attractive medina. Overnight in local hotel.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN – FES:

Today we travel to Fes where you enjoy walking in narrow medina streets. Optional activities as cooking lesson or excursion to Volubilis. Overnight in local hotel.

DAY 3: FES EXCURSION – CASABLANCA :

Today we explore Fes with local guide in adventure half day excursion. We visit famous tanneries, we walk in medina , we do not miss other important monuments and sights. Then we transfer you to Casablanca.

DAY 1: CASABLANCA – RABAT – FES:

We will meet you in your hotel in Casablanca city, then we drive to Rabat ,capital to explore most important cultural sights including Hassan II tower. We continue to Meknes and we explore the Roman ruins in Volubilis. We spend the night in local riad in FEs.

DAY 2: FES EXCURSION – THEN DRIVE TO MIDELT AND MERZOUGA DESERT:

Today we visit best of medina (the old city) including the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque considered the first university in the world . Then we drive to Ifrane, and Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest. Here you may well see Barbarian apes. We pass Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud and then Rissani, before arriving to Merzouga. Here our camels will be waiting for us and we enjoy guided camel ride for about 1 hour to the camp. We stay overnight in tent with dinner and Berber music.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – RISSANI– TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY:

We wake up early in the morning to watch desert sunrise, then after breakfast we drive to Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges where you explore the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch we’ll explore the Dades Valley, where we’ll see the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight in riad with dinner.

DAY 4: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE –AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH- MARRAKECH:

On the last day we’ll drive through “the way of the thousand Kasbahs”. We’ll visit Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city”, then to Skoura and Ouarzazate. We visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. We pass Tizi n’Tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving to Marrakech. Today our 5 days Merzouga tour from Casablanca starts with hotel pick up in Casablanca city,  we drive to Rabat ,capital where you visit important cultural places including Hassan II Tower. Then we continue to Rif mountains where we spend the night in Chefchaouen.

DAY 3: FES – MIDELT – MERZOUGA DESERT:

Today we drive to ski resort in Ifrane, then we visit Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of cedar forest. We continue to Erfoud and then Rissani, before arriving to Merzouga desert. We ride camels in guided camel ride for about 1 hour to reah the Erg Chebbi camp where we stay overnight in Sahara tent with dinner and Berber music.

DAY 1: CASABLANCA – FES:

We will meet you in the airport or in your hotel in Casablanca and drive to Fes passing by Rabat and Meknes. If the time allow us ,we  can make shirt stops to visit the important places in those cities as well as the Roman ruins  then it’s on to Fes where you’ll arrive in the evening and here you’ll overnight in a traditional Moroccan house (riad).

DAY 2: FES EXCURSION :

Most of the morning will be spent visiting the medina (the old city) and its alleys. Your visit starts by visiting the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah) and the Royal Palace (yard), which is the biggest one in the country.  You will be visiting the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque considered the first university in the world . After lunch, in a typical Moroccan restaurant in the Medina, you’ll  experience a wonderful panoramic view of the city.  Overnight accommodation will be at the same riad.

DAY 3: FES – AZROU – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA:

After breakfast we’ll leave Fes travelling towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”.  During this journey you’ll see glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains.  Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you may well see Barbarian apes. We pass Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock and along the spectacular Ziz Valley.  We’ll drive through Berber villages to Erfoud and then Rissani, before arriving to Merzouga. Dinner and breakfast in Merzouga.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA AREA – THE CAMEL TREK AND OVERNIGHT IN THE CAMP:

After breakfast  you’ll start exploring the area. You’ll be visiting the Gnawa people in their village Khamlia, where you will learn about the Gnawa music and their lifestyle. . Afterwards, we’ll drive in Sahara desert area where we can meet nomad families still living under Berber tents which are made from wool of their animals. Today our lunch will be a local meal ( Berber pizza) with a Berber family . You have the option also to visit the old city of Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco.  Rissani is surrounded by about 360 ksar  and has a big souk (an open market). Later we will drive back to the village of Merzouga, where your camel will be waiting for you ,Guided by an experienced camel man . the camel ride takes about 1 hour to arrive to the camp-where you will spend the night- in the middle of the highest sand dunes to enjoy the sunset. The dinner will be served at the camp.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY:

Your camelman will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise in your life, then you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village .  En-route you won’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and shower in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight in our traditional guest house with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 6: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE –AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH:

After breakfast we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city”,our journey continue to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, where we can stop to discover the way and the process of making the Argain oil by the Berber women their cooperatives before arriving.

DAY 1: CASABLANCA  –FES

We will meet you in Casablanca airport and drive to Fes At the first day after your arrival , we will pick up you at the airport and drive directly to Fes via the free way to enjoy the view of fertile lands of Rabat and Meknes city till you arrive to your riad in Fes in which you will spend the night and have a traditional dinner.

DAY 2: FES SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast in your riad , you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter,the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.

DAY 3: FES –IFRANE – MIDELT :

Free morning in Fes and drive to Midelt in afternoon. ( Midelt is half way from Fes to Merzouga ) At mid –day you will leave Fes travelling towards Ifran, a beautiful mountains village, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and then on to Midelt. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbary apes. After sometime within the forest, your journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. In Midelt you will be accommodated in a hotel.

DAY 4: MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA. CAMEL RIDE AND NIGHT IN A CAMP

After breakfast in your hotel you will travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will be travelling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, you’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, here you will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality. Afterwards, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive at Merzouga on the afternoon. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you start your camel ride to spend an over night on the desert camp with Berber music and sand boarding .

DAY 5: MERZOUGA – TOUDGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

Your camelman will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy hotel overlooking the Dades valley.

DAY 6: DADES VALLEY – ROSES VALLEY – OUARZAZETTE – AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAIN –MARRAKECH

After breakfast in the hotel, you will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazat. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip in both the valley rose roses and cinema city of Ouarzazate pasiing by Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains , it used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the Sahara to Marrakech., now one of the Unesco heritage site. after that we will shift the way to cross high atlas mountains full of panoramic view and attractive Berber villages all along the way till Marrakech .

DAY 7: MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast in the riad , you can start exploring Marrakech ” the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After Lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wonder by yourself the other parts of the city .

DAY 8: FREE DAY IN MARRAKECH

During this day you will have the chance if you like to join the cooking class to learn how to cook a Moroccan dish, or just an easy and relaxing day .

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

Today we transfer you to the airport.
