DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - ZAGORA

We will cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass after being picked up from Marrakech. After that, we visit Ait Benhaddou, a lovely village. We'll make a pit stop in the Draa Valley, which is known for its incredible Ksour and Kasbahs, before continuing on to Ouarzazate. In the past, the Oasis of Zagora was a caravan centre, the starting point of the great trans-Saharan convoys. Once there,we will enjoy a camel ride from Zagora to reach the bivouac camp-site. Along the way, you will be able to view the amazing panoramic sunset. At the camp, you will enjoy a traditional dinner under the sky and retire to your tent to spend the night near the dunes of Zagora.

DAY 2 : ZAGORA - DRAA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

A spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes will greet us early in the morning, followed by a traditional Berber breakfast served at the camp. To get to Zagora, you'll have to ride a camel for an hour. If time and weather permit, Tamegroute will be visited. Zagora is only about 20 kilometers away on the old road to Timbuktu. The town is known for its historical library of the Koranic School and by the handicrafts cooperative of pottery. Along the route to Marrakech, you will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before making the circuit again through the Atlas mountains and through the Tizi n'Tichka pass.
